Trusting God..Wholly, Completely...Because He is God

My husband and I found a reality TV show that absolutely fascinates us.  The whole premise of the show is 4 "experts" have banded together and are finding life matches for singles that want to get married.  The singles go through a battery of psychological, social, personality, and many other tests to determine what kind of person would be their perfect match on paper.  Once the match is made, the two singles get married sight unseen having never met before.  What I found to be so incredibly interesting is one of the women continually said throughout the 5 week "social experiment" that she had to trust the experts because they knew based on their training and experience what her perfect match was so she was going to give her new husband everything to try and make their marriage work.
It struck me how much blind faith she had in secular, human experts just because they were supposed to be leaders in their respective fields.  Then I thought, what difference could God make in our lives if we could have such blind faith in Him just because He is God?

Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

How could we not have such faith in God as to believe that He desires our peace?  Our Father thinks thoughts of peace toward us?

Jeremiah 29:12-13 go on to say "Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search with all your heart."

Not only can we pray to Him, but He has told us He will listen to us!

Paul said in Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

No matter what is going on in our lives or what storms are raging around us, our blind faith should center on the fact that He has all things in His control because He is God.  He is the Omnipotent, powerful, Almighty Creator of the Universe, The Great I Am.  What can He not control?  Nothing.  All things are in His hands.  He only wants the best for us.  Why can we not have that blind faith in Him like the woman had in the experts from the TV show?  How much more at peace could we be if we just trusted God to work on our behalf because He knows what is best?
